Ten Seven Acres

Galchutt, ND
Jessie & Dirk Monson

We started Ten Seven Acres in 2013 without a clear plan, but with a desire to do something different. Our five acre farm quickly became home to horses, chickens, and ducks. In 2014, with the addition of alpacas, we started focusing on fiber production. Our alpaca herd usually numbers between 20 - 25 with the animals being shorn once per year. In 2020 we opened Yarn Factory, a full-service fiber mill that works with small-scale animal fiber producers. We're also active with agritourism by offering on farm tours where our guests can interact with all the animals who call Ten Seven Acres home.
